PowerFactory 2020 SP1 released

DIgSILENT Pacific is pleased to announce that PowerFactory 2020 SP1 is now available for download and installation.

This new service pack comes with a series of fixes and improvements. For details please refer to the corresponding Release Notes. It is available on the Download Area for registered users of companies with valid guarantee/maintenance.

This service pack supports localisation of the user interface for various languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Russian and now Chinese.

PowerFactory 2020 comes with a new application framework, providing a new look and enhanced usability. It also offers developments in analysis functions and many new and enhanced network models..

We invite you to learn more about these functions and enhancements described in the What’s New document, available in our Download Area. Selected highlights are presented in our What’s New Video.

As usual, you will find all detailed information in the user manual and supporting technical documentation that is delivered with the software, together with updated examples and a revised PowerFactory tutorial package.

Service packs for previous versions:

We have also released the following service pack: PowerFactory 2019 SP5.
This service pack is likewise available in the download area for registered users.

The new and improved models and functions in the PowerFactory 2020 version continue the process of enhancement and development which ensures that PowerFactory remains the ideal tool for a wide range of network planning and operational studies, from small micro-grids to large transmission and distribution networks, including HVDC and renewable technologies.

Support for previous versions
DIgSILENT will actively continue to support the two previous versions PowerFactory 2019 and 2018. Note that we have officially discontinued support of the preceding version PowerFactory 2017 and will not provide any further service packs for this former version.
