DIgSILENT releases new service packs for PowerFactory 2023 and 2022
PowerFactory 2023 SP2 and PowerFactory 2022 SP6 – Now available for download!
DIgSILENT has released PowerFactory 2023 SP2 and PowerFactory 2022 SP6.
These new service packs are available in the Download Area section for registered users, for companies with valid guarantee or subscription. It delivers a series of fixes and improvements, which are described in the corresponding Release Notes.
These service packs have been released at short notice, in order to address two important issues:
(a) An unexpected program termination when editing cells in a tabular report.
(b) Failing login with passwords longer than 27 characters.
Only the following PowerFactory versions are affected by these problems:
- PowerFactory 2023, PowerFactory 2023 SP1: issue (a) and (b)
- PowerFactory 2022 SP5: issue (a)

Support of previous versions:
DIgSILENT will actively continue to support the three versions PowerFactory 2023, 2022 and 2021.
Note that we have officially discontinued support of the preceding version PowerFactory 2020 and will not provide any further service packs for this former version.
End of 32-bit versions:
PowerFactory 2022 was the last release for both 64-bit and 32-bit operating systems. Beginning with PowerFactory 2023, PowerFactory is available in 64-bit technology only.
