Markus Pöller to present two seminars in Australia

Markus Pöller will be visiting Australia in October 2012. Dr.-Ing. Markus Pöller is a power system consultant, specialized in the area of grid integration of renewable generation and a lecturer for the subject "Grid Integration of Wind Energy" at the University of Stuttgart. For many years, he was a joint Managing Director of the software and consulting company DIgSILENT GmbH in Germany. Markus was involved in studies relating to major wind generation projects, such as the Danish offshore wind farm "Horns Rev.", the first German offshore wind farm "Borkum-West" and the 500MW offshore wind farm "Greater Gabbard" in the U.K. He contributed substantially to a large variety of wind generation impact studies, such as the German "dena-grid-study" or the Australian wind generation impact study "Assessment of potential security risks due to high levels of wind generation in South Australia". Besides this, he carried out wind generation impact studies in Europe, Africa and Latin America and was involved in the definition of interconnection rules in many parts of the world.

As part of this visit Markus has agreed to present two seminars covering the topics of sub-synchronous resonance and renewable energy integration. It is expected that demand for these presentations will be extremely high, so register early to avoid missing out. Registrations can be completed at the links below:
