Harmonics Analysis Training

This one day course provides an introduction to the harmonics analysis tools of PowerFactory. Topics convered include:

• Harmonics overview
• Harmonic current and voltage sources
• Harmonics load-flow
• Frequency scan
• Frequency dependent parameters of passive network elements (lines, transformers)
• Ripple control source modelling
• Line commutated rectifier/inverter models
• Harmonics' Filter Modelling
• Harmonics' Filter Design

Before attending this course, course attendees should be familiar with the basic use of PowerFactory such as how to perform load-flow and short circuit analysis and navigate around the database.
