PowerFactory DIgSILENT Programming Language (DPL) Training

This two day course provides an introduction to the DIgSILENT Programming Language that is used for developing automated scripts within PowerFactory and greatly increasing productivity. Topics convered include:

• Variables and types;
• Execution flow control;
• Input and output;
• Accessing PowerFactory objects;
• External objects and sub-routines;
• Using and modifying a study case;
• Accessing the study case;
• Sets and filters;
• Object functions of specific PowerFactory objects;
• Accessing and using object methods; and
• Advanced programming tasks.

Before attending this course, course attendees should be familiar with the basic use of PowerFactory such as how to perform load-flow and short circuit analysis and navigate around the database.
